Playing together

I have to record these moments for the teenage years if they hate each other.  I came out of my to see this, this morning.  I said, "why so sweet?"  Michael said, while still watching the tv, "because we love each other."  (Universal "awwwww!"). I mean can you stand it???

They've really been playing together, lately, too.  It's so cute, Michael isn't just running along with her, he is really involved with what they are doing.  Talking with her, in conversation about their pretend.

George is full of pretend every day.  So funny.  "I get my shirt on, I get my helmet on.  I get in my car."  It's so funny and constant every night after bath.  He comes to my bed and starts making something with the pillows and telling a story and pretending something.  He also calls water towers rockets around town.  We drive past one and he says, "I see a wocket ship!"

Notice the legs are blurry?  Someone loves her bath tub!!

Today will be a day

Yesterday, Michael started complaining about his neck.  This morning he said he was better, you gave him ibuprofen.  But j got a calm from the resource specialist that he was in tears when he got off the bus at school.  His teacher said he was complaining most of yesterday.  She didn't tell me or the resource teacher.

Normally Jane would be at preschool today but she chose to stay home because she has a cold.

I call for a chiropractor appt ad tell Jane and George I'm getting in the shower.  Both of them, "I want to shower with you!!!" And they both run to the shower yl strip!  So funny.  So there I am in the shower with them, I et finished just in time for the phone to ring.  There was a cancellation and openin for Michael.  Yay.  Jane and George are openin and closing the shower door.  Then Jane wants out and George is trying to hold her inside the shower.  I rescue her, get her dried and we are working on getting dressed.  In Jane's room, George comes in all wet, "mom, I poop in the shower!  Ew!"  Fabulous.  Go back to shower, he also dropped some in the towel outside the shower.  All this time the baby was increasingly fussy.  She was asleep before I made my shower announcement but soon woke due to all the excitement.

Now I have towels and other thigs on the sanitize setting in the wash, a ton of clean laundry in my bed, a sleepy baby in my arms.  And I'm trying the psych myself up for going around town with the whole gang today.

Jane and questions

Michael didnt ask questions.  Jane does. Michael was quiet and studied stuff. Jane talks and sings and screams and tells me everything and asks constant inane questions.  I know this is totally normal but Michael didn't do it.  On the flip side, even though he is quiet, Michael seems to be very outgoing with other kids.  He goes up to them with, "hi! I'm Michael, I'm five years old. Wanna play?"  Or "come in come in and play" to any hold at the door.  Jane gets super shy around new kids.  She really takes a while to warm up, like an hour at the park.  She doesn't like new kids to look at her.

In an effort to quiet Jane or keep her preoccupied from asking questions, tony asked her to count to 100.  "One, two, three, four, five, hey! I'm four years old!"  That was it.

Jane is four!!

I love this girl!  She went to her preschool, today.  Gee came to visit.  We had a nice calm day with the babies at home, until george bit a chunk from inside his lower lip.  Lots of blood.  Popsicles to the rescue.

We picked up Jane from school.  Then Gee stayed here for Michael getting off the bus while us girls (Maggie came too) went to the hair salon to get our hair cut.  Jane wanted hers short like mommy.

Back home we enjoyed a beautiful Belle cake and opened presents.  Then a trip to HEB.  Jane got some balloons and loved it.
