Today was my due date for George. He is 5 weeks old, today. He also weighs 9 pounds exactly on our homescale. I cannot imagine how miserable I would have been if I'd carried him to term. God really knows what we need and what we can handle.
I'm not sure if I've mentioned it here or not, but, in the last week before George's birth, I was feeling SUPER SUPER pregnant. I kept praying, "Dear Lord, I don't want a premie (meaning I don't want to have a baby early if it would be at the baby's detriment), but I REALLY REALLY don't want to be pregnant anymore."
God knows how to answer our prayers.

Baby Michael Blase has blessed us with his beautiful presence in the outside world! Born to this world on January 23, 2009 at 8:14 PM, Michael weighed in at 7 pounds 13 ounces and measured 21 inches long.
Jane Baird
Jane was born October 2, at 9:14 PM, AT HOME. She weighed 7 pounds 1.5 oz and was 20 inches long.
